Building a firepit

So we had an old fire pit that the old people left here. Basically the inside of a big steel rim buried in the ground. My boss at work has 6 pallets of real nice rock that was meant for the side of a house. He said I could have as much as I want. Said they never used it on a job and got paid to haul it away. It's some sort of shale with some nice burnt reds in the rock, mixed with some blacks and even some fossilized plants in the rock. So I took my truck down and loaded up a load. Weighs quite a bit. I am not quite done and still need some more rock to finish the top ring, but it is coming out. Looks like a classic campfire. Looks nice and free, can't beat that combo.
