Air Fryers

Has anyone been around these new Air Fryers? I guess they are suppose to cook foods like french fries etc. but instead of using oils, they just use hot air. Anyone used or have one?

Isn't that what a convection oven or really any oven does? However for best results in an oven, you need to toss whatever you are baking in light oil.

I think so, I think it mainly uses hot air to cook with. Suppose to be healthier than using oil.

My wife's parents have one. They use it all the time and love it.

I thought most still used oil, just a lot less

I ended up picking up the Ninja above, and we finally used it the other night, and I will say that it does a great job and things are cooked to the way that they are suppose to be like pizza rolls are crisp and not deflated.

Onion rings are amazing in these things!
