An infamous UFO photo that mysteriously went missing for 30 years has finally been uncovered, sparking a fresh investigation into the groundbreaking image.
The picture, dubbed the “Calvine Photograph” was considered lost for decades but was discovered after years of research by UFO expert journalist Dr David Clarke.
Taken at around 9pm on August 4, 1990 by two hikers near Calvine in Scotland, the photograph appears to show a large diamond-shaped flying metal object which was hovering above the ground.
The photographers, whose identities are still not known, took six pictures of the object which was said to be about 30m long. It then shot straight up into the sky and has apparently never been seen, or photographed again.
In the picture, a fighter jet can be seen in the background but it’s not known if that plane was following the UFO.
