I know that our favorite red wine costs only 7 bucks a bottle.  We get it by the box occasionally.  Can't remember the name of it however, i'll update this when i think of it.

I use to be into it actually, when i worked at a grocery store, i knew alot of stuff about it. We carried a full line. I use to try all sorts of them, some are nasty, and some go great with certain foods. Fish, pasta, etc. taste great with certain wines. It enhances the taste. I also was friends with a guy who's wife family owned their own vineyard down in California. One Christmas he gave me a bottle of meade (Link). It's basically honey wine. It was very good. The night got a little blurry after that...
