exFAT vs. NTFS for usb drives

Just an FYI, don't be like me and have a NTFS formatted flash drive and wonder why things are so slow. Most modern PCs will work with exFAT now and there is a big difference in speed.

👍 great topic, I'm going to reformat all my flash drives now. I took this for granted and just went with ntfs on all, no wonder they have slow speeds.

I went looking for my flash drive, only to find it in the washing machine because my wife washed it without checking my pockets. The wording is completely worn off. To my surprise it still works lol.

1.  Checking pockets is your job (as the one who does laundry, I take no responsibility for anything left in clothing, that's your fault)

2.  If you had found it in the Dryer it wouldn't work.  Washer is usually fine as long as it is dried out

An update. It is shot, but I was able to get most stuff off slowly by unplugging/plugging it back in. But she is dead.
