Your take on social media censoring?

Which browser do you suggest? I’m definitely not going Google chrome and leery of MS based ones.
Honestly I use to be a diehard Firefox fan. But since I have switched to Microsoft Edge I have really been enjoying it. It's actually Chrome under the hood (probably not the best for privacy). But It works quite well, and the addons seem to work better in it than they did in Firefox. If you are really concerned then:

Apple has now just pulled Parler from their App Store.

Next will be Amazon AWS service trying to remove the entire Parler site. Then it will go to the ISPs themselves. Then we will be just like China.

Was going to post this last night, but seemed like a rumor at the time, but looks like Apple is planning to issue an update to the iOS to shut off the Presidential Emergency Broadcast. So might want to go into update options to turn off automatic updates if you believe in the freedom of speech and not being suppressed and all that constitutionally freedom stuff that haters hate.

Interesting, I am going to have to check this one out. I am seeing it here and there. You think there would be some sort of law preventing this, but wait it seems like the freedom of speech was just throw out only a couple of days ago as well. Crazy times.https://twitter.com/username/status/1348121253584912384

I wonder if this gets re-enabled after Biden takes over if it is indeed true?

Wow this whole media whitewash must be spreading. I woke up and went to a couple of forums I sometimes visit, just to read the political boards. After this morning they are no longer allowing what they call "conspiracy theories". Someone asked if they were still able to make post about the election being stolen, and they said it was never stolen and that was a conspiracy theory and outright banned him. I wonder what changed in the middle of the night? Man the CCP really taking over and moving fast.

I hope Parler can make it, from what I am reading, everyone is refusing to work with them, and they are blacklisted everywhere.

Sadly we are turning into China real fast.

Visa blacklisted Gab and they are now unable to process credit and debit card transactions.

In China there is something called the Social Credit System, which was developed by the Communist Chinese Party as a “national reputation system.” This system tracks the “trustworthiness” of individuals, businesses, and organizations. “Trustworthiness” here means total and complete submission to the Chinese Communist Party. If the Communist Party deems you to be untrustworthy, you are denied access to plane tickets, train tickets, opening and operating businesses, and more.
