Charcoal toothpaste

So the other day my wife ended up picking me up charcoal toothpaste along with a charcoal infused toothbrush. Apparently it's becoming a thing now in toothpastes. Has anyone else used it? It is strange, I mean it comes out black and when you spit it's a dark grey. Surprisingly it's suppose to be good for you teeth, along with removing stains. Picture is for reference, I don't know what brand she got me.

One thing that I have noticed, it seems like my teeth feel cleaner. You know like by the end of the day if you run your tongue over your teeth and sometimes they don't feel as slick or even gritty? I have noticed that my teeth feel slick all the time now.
