I haven't heard many people saying the boom will be back because of this. The more oil we produce will result in more of a surplus causing the prices to go down. I think the next major bump will come due to a conflict with another country. Iran or North Korea will make it run up. I really don't think the pipeline will cause a boom by any big measure. So this has finally come to a close the last few days. But I have a question. What's with all the talk on social media with people saying "The oil boom is back" etc. I really don't think this pipeline is going to make the boom happen again. I get a vibe that everyone thinks that because the pipeline is going in that ND will be back to what it once was during the boom. I think it will provide a few new jobs, but in fact take away many that were originally there, or currently there. No more hauling oil trucks, or rail cars. Plus the price of crude is even down today. I don't think this pipeline being completed will change anything economy wise for ND.
You didn't think they were going to give up that easy did you?
But if you go up and read my post about my suspicion of all these sudden leaks and it all makes sense. You didn't think they were going to give up that easy did you?
WoW that is crazy. See you never see any of this stuff on the news. Then when you try to discuss it the people for the oil don't want to hear it.
North Dakota's governor is asking President Donald Trump for federal reimbursement of $38 million in state law enforcement costs related to months of protests over construction of the Dakota Access oil pipeline.
The controversial Dakota Access Pipeline, which Donald Trump pushed through upon taking the presidency, leaked about 200 miles south of where the well-reported Standing Rock protests were located.
No there were a few notable ones:Was this the most contentious topic ever discussed on Fluxoid?
