Quote of the day

"Give me the place to stand, and I shall move the earth" ? Archimedes
I could be wrong, but I thought Archimedes said, "Give a big enough lever, and I will move the earth."  He was refering to the reduced IMA when using a lever and fulcrom to lift heavy objects.
Nope it shows it's correct. Looks like there maybe more translations?Give me the place to stand, and I shall move the earth. or Give me a place to stand, and I shall move the world. or Give me a fulcrum, and I shall move the world.

I actually love this quote. It's 100% true. I spend most of my life always wondering "what if". You will never know what path your life would have gone if you never tried it.
