Axe throwing trend at bars

Has anyone noticed this trend popping up? Seems like a lot of the bars/breweries around here have set up axe throwing competitions. It's basically throwing axes at a large wooden dart board. I was in a store the other day, and the entire wall was just for axes for this purpose. Is it getting popular in your area as well?

Yeah been popular here for about 2 years or so. They have a big place in the mall for it here. They combo it up with a golf simulator and other such things, can eat and drink there as well.
