Corned Beef and Cabbage

So it's that time of year again for this delicious delicacy. It is one of my most favorite foods out there. I don't know what it is about the meat, the saltiness, the seasoning, but it's dam good. The cabbage goes so well with it. I believe it's an Irish tradition. The city that I went to school in was heavy Irish influence so every restaurant serves this almost the entire month of March. It's very easy to make and you can buy a bunch and freeze it for later use. They all include a little seasoning packet as well. I would say the only draw back is the more you eat of it your body almost starts to smell like it. And if you have clothes and coats next to the kitchen your clothes will smell like it. But so dam good!

I dehydrated about 30 pounds of leeks in the apartment in Jimtown. It stunk in there for a month. My boss said I smelled like a fast food joint when I came to work. Lucky
we didn't get thrown out.
