Bookstores, where did they all go?

I know with the rise of digital technology the age of bookstore has pretty much vanished. I remember what a treat it was to go in a Barnes & Nobles, or a Hastings to see the vast book selection. We still have a small bookstore in our town here. I use to visit it was I was a little kid. We went in there Saturday and it still has the same smell. It's the smell of that old paper that pages are made out of. Looking at books online just aren't the same as being able to physically pick one up and look at the back. I wonder if our kids will ask one day what a "bookstore" even was. Almost just like all the old video rental stores.

Went into a Barnes and Nobles over the weekend. I love those places, the smell of coffee, the toys and books, the smell of paper glue. Stores like those I could spend an entire day in. It really wants to get me back into reading.

We have a Barnes and Noble in town. Don't think I've ever been in that particular one but they are cool stores. I used to go to the bookstores in the malls to kill time but they are pretty much gone now it seems.
