Best way to exercise at home?

I was thinking running stairs - my treadmill is in MT and I'm visiting my mom in Iowa. Doing school, saving money... anyhow, I need to lose about 20 pounds. I'm eating fairly healthy but my cardio has been way down for the last 3 months. I also didn't get a chance to bring my bike. Frustrating. Does anyone have any tips?


I think the easiest and cheapest (free), would be running or jogging. Maybe if there is a pool you can use swimming is great exercise also. Just watch your diet will probably help out the best. No pop, watch your sugar and carbs.

Along  with any cardio, you always want to do some type of weight bearing exercises to build or keep muscle mass. You don't have to look like the hulk, anything in moderation will do, 2-3 days a week.

Muscle mass is what really burns unwanted calories especially at rest and makes everything feel easier when walking, running, or performing any task. Cardio just helps polish and aid the body.
