I love because of the new Xbox and Ps4 the sales of the Wii-U have skyrocketed. Everyone is buying one now. They are sold out most places now. Even on Amazon the day of the announcement of the new Xbox, it jumped from like 200 in sales to 50 or something. I can't believe all the forums anymore. That's all they talk about now.

I saw this and wanted to post it, so I'm glad this thread was here. I thought it was humorous. Anyway. We have enough games so I am probably sitting this out for now. Unless they come out with super duper driving set up, I have what I need for now. Not to mention I buy more games for iOS, and steam.

I do like the $0.30 sales the have on Wii U's sale channel. <edit> I don't have a wii u, I just think its good they are that cheap. </edit> Wish it was that cheap on wii.

I hate to say it, but I am really considering one of these. I would love the Virtual Console, to be able to play the games I grew up on.

I don't mean to bump this again. But I feel as this is going to be the sleeper console of this year. I think after E3 with announcements of maybe a price drop and say a Zelda game announcement, you may see this actually come out on top this year.

It's looking better all the time. A price drop would help it though as well as some big name games.

Pretty sure this is my next purchase. I would have had one if I could had found help in the Electronics dept. I am kinda waiting now to see what deals E3 brings. But may not wait to long since I plan on buying the deluxe anyways.

I think they need to drop the price on these. It's not a bad system. But with the console war starting up again, to compete these things need to be around $150-$200 max.

The Mario package is much more tempting than any dumb Zelda thing...
The Mario is just a plain set, this one has artwork on it. So more collectible.

Still have Wii-U's in stock at our Walmart.
Has Wii U ever been out of stock, other than maybe the first few days it was out? I don't know what it would cost them to drop the price again, but they might have to if they don't get things going. Other than exclusives (a.k.a Mario, and I guess the one Zelda game per generation) they have nothing going for them. Every cross platform game is much better on the competitors.

Hate bumping this again, but dam there are some fun looking games on this. Notice the word "fun".

I agree with your statement of fun. As much as I like to play the more adult like games like Call of Duty and the like I almost would rather play some Mario at the moment. It's a more relaxing, family and child friendly and fun.
