So I have been wanting to post this for awhile, but after @Davidc post today about google I thought I would. There is something strange happening lately on the internet. I don't really know how to explain it, but it's mass hatred for anything good and the right wing. Now everyone can have an opinion, I am all for that. But there is a mass spread all over sites, and forums. It's like a disease spreading. It's doesn't seem natural enough either. Here is the kicker, there is either a group just spamming these sites or they are advanced AI bots doing it.I also believe just as @Davidc pointed out with google that there is a higher up group pushing their motives. Even Donald Trumps son spoke out about this same stuff on Twitter a week ago about Ellen DeGeneres . Something is channeling everything though the internet to bend to what they what they want you to think. It's not the whole "fake news" thing either this is on the internet. I have seen these post from such topics as gun control, religion, politics, etc. I almost feel as if it is group being funded with thousands of uses to do it. It's like someone hired all the cold callers that try to sell you stuff and pay them to post this stuff everywhere. I can't be the only that has noticed this trend. It's like a mass organization is behind this. I guess they same could be said about the news. Anyone else agree that something is going on?

I totally agree. It makes one wonder if they  have added to the ranks of 800,000 that were on the payroll to disrupt, spy etc. The 800 thousand

were not part of any alphabet agency either. Ultimately, I believe we are dealing with the forces of evil.

It does raise the question of who is funding all of this? Some rich person? A foundation of members? Or even a Government themselves?

I find the internet more intrusive in the last two years in general.  A Lot more garbage news and advertisements.

I think even @C Pav can take in account of another forum we both used to visit and it was so anti trump, anti gun, etc. That if would even made a comment that is slightly that way you got banned. @ryanator is right though to me it's seems about the last 3 years. But it seems like they have people in places that can moderate and control what is spoken about.

Yeah I agree. Anti anything especially old ways of things. No authority, no cares and basically do whatever one wants. If you have values and say anything against that you are treated like trash and like you are wrong. One forum I go to for parenting thinks every kid with any little issue needs therapy and any parent that shows a little anger and uses discipline should get therapy and anger management. Really?

Thanks funny @C Pav I just saw something last night on another forum about spanking, and the responses were so crazy that I couldn't read anymore. Is this just the way of the millennials, or is there  group or intelligent bot group at work out there. I saw like you said someone tried to defend it with others ganging up on him and it's their way or no way.

I also think it's sad that companies like Google can display only what they want to display on the internet. I am sure everyone has heard about all the stuff going on with Youtube lately. A lot of people make money off of Youtube and when they trend they move up. Well google has been control which videos can trend or which ones can display ads, and will even delist videos or not allow them in their search results since it doens't meet their standards. The same can be said about website rankings.

Advanced AI, changing the way you think.

How Much of the Internet Is Fake? Turns Out, a Lot of It, Actually.

While the internet seems very much alive and authentic with never-ending updates to social feeds and ballooning view counts on streaming sites, studies claim that "less than 60 percent of web traffic is human." Researchers say a good chunk of the internet consists of "bots masquerading as people," which isn’t a far-fetched idea, considering the increasing indictments against digital advertisers who commit fraud by using bots to forge everything from clicks to accounts.

I was thinking about this. I don't think most people understand how far AI development has come. Why do you think CAPTCHAS are all over on the web? You would be surprised on how bots can solve them. You would also be surprised on how many scour the web. I am talking about keywords look ups that can take something that you have written, decode and pull out keywords and then compile a whole new phrase and post it while making it look like it is coming from a living human. There are also purposely misspelled words to make it not seem 100% perfect. This is all automated. You can have them either post positive/neutral/negative reactions to things written on the web. This is just the bot side of things not the human posting farms. It's robotic propaganda. You will never know if your conversing with a real human or not anymore. This is part of the fake news/deep state that people aren't fully understanding.

Yes, society sure has created a monster. We are our own problem many times, with greed and narcissism a driver behind a lot of it.

Boy we sure called this one, 2 years ago.

I think WSB on Reddit tonight is finally experiencing how bots can take over.

Looks like China or another entity are sure pushing their propaganda across social media lately. These are started last week. Another phase rollout. Just shows you how these massive companies can manipulate the media.

Face it, we already know how terrible any internet, social media and other such current world ways of living are. Doesn't matter if it's "healthy" in nature it's not at all. It's basically choose a side and let the lies and misinformation flow and see how many people we can deceive, join the side and then spread the trash and fight those who think differently. I hate to say it but it's ruining marriages, friendships, families and everyone.

I could go on but it would take so long to discuss it all. Basically we can't think for ourselves. We can't enjoy or experience anything for ourselves. We need to be told what to do and how to do it. Growing up we got to experience things like ramping our bikes off a flimsy ramp or a curb or a big dirt hill. We survived. Sure sometimes an injury happened or something broke but we had fun and learned that way. Now we find an online message board saying better not leave your house or might end up ran over by a drunk clown on a snowmobile. Kids then are told it's too scary to do anything but live in a bubble. Same for everyone. Oh no this or that fat is bad for us. Doritos will kill us all. Get rid of that poison. Get out of here with that. In moderation doritos will not harm anyone. Same with most everything else.
