So I don't use cash much anymore of get change back that often anymore. But the other day I had some cash in my wallet and paid for lunch. The lady gave me my change and when I got back to work I looked at it. I noticed it had a new shiny penny and the back was different. Anyways one of the first thing I noticed was how light it was. So I compared it with an older penny here. You can see how thin it is compared to an older penny. Plus the lightness. So obviously they have made them thinner etc.? So how can they do this. A penny needs to be worth a penny. Now it's worth only about 1/2 cent. They screwed us! Can you imagine them taken a silver dollar or gold dollar and not making them 99.99% pure? I'm sorry to save material it's now only 49.99% pure. But we will say it's worth the same amount. Thanks Treasury thanks... :annoyed:
I want the rest of my copper!
